The First Empty Bowl Project Event  Was held at at Rockler March 19 & 20 2011

Two days of bowl turning for the Empty Bowl Project. Molly providied Lathes flat sandpaper and sharpening equipment and discounted "Mollywood" Bowl blanks to be used for the Empty Bowls project.

The Empty Bowl Turn-a-thon at Rockler was a resounding Success with almost $1500 worth of bowls sold and the money to be donated to the Good Shepard Food Bank.  A very special thanks to Jack Savona and Brian Libby for their terrific organization of this project, and a thank-you to all of the turners who made the bowls that made this weekend successful.

Look for more Empty Bowl Project events coming in the fall, and keep turning those bowls.
